The January 2018 edition of your investment property has good news for Dubbo – a place in the Annual Top 100 Suburbs Guide.
Listed based on capital growth and rental returns, the in-depth ranking of the Top 100 Australian property markets for 2018 was put together by a panel of respected experts using the latest data-rich resources.
According to the article, “these are the markets that are forecast to outperform the rest of Australia in short-term capital growth, but to also offer sustainable, long term price growth for property investors.”
And not only does Dubbo find itself a spot on the list, but also a breakout feature mention in the opening of the New South Wales section:
“While some of Australia’s most unaffordable property investments are to be found in Sydney, there are plenty of other opportunities to invest throughout NSW. Case in point: Dubbo “one of Australia’s most underrated cities” explains Propertyology’s Simon Pressley. “With a newly expanded hospital, Charles Sturt University, and tourist attractions such as the safari style Taronga Western Plains Zoo, rising demand for the regions goods and services has seen unemployment firmly below the national average.””
Citing our media house price at $362,000, the cities growth rates were also just as promising with 5.7% over 12 months, 16.8% over 3 years and 31.2% over 5 years.
It’s promising data, and certainly a wonderful mention for Dubbo in a respected national publication.
