The construction process

Once the contracts are signed and settlement has taken place, approvals are sought and the construction process begins. Construction can be broken down into six stages and will generally take between four to five months.

Your sales consultant will be there alongside you throughout the construction journey. They will provide regular updates and be the point of communication between you and our team of expert builders.

Stage 1
Stage 1

The foundation of your home is created. The block is prepared, levelled and the concrete slab is poured.

Stage 2
Stage 2

From the outside, your home will begin to take shape. The frames and trusses go up and you can start to see your vision come to life.

Stage 3
Stage 3

The brickwork is completed and the roof goes on. Your windows will also be installed and your new house will be sealed from the elements.

Stage 4
Stage 4

“Lock Up”: now the focus moves to the inside and the internal fit-out. Walls, floors, kitchen, cabinetry and bathrooms will be complete. Your external and garage doors will also be fitted.

Stage 5
Stage 5

“Practical Completion” where the finishing touches are applied. This includes painting, internal doors, tapware, lighting, appliances, blinds and carpet. Your garden landscaping will also be completed, including your concrete driveway and external paths – all ready for you to move in.

Stage 6
Stage 6

Handover is the final stage in the process where we give you the keys and take you through the house. We’ll show you how everything works and answer any questions you might have. Your new house is now yours to furnish and make a home. Congratulations!
